Conor McGregor weighed in 3.5 pounds heavier than Floyd Mayweather Fight ahead of their £500million mega-fight.
The Irishman tipped the scales at 153lb, inside the 154lb limit, compared to Mayweather’s 149.5lb.
The boxing legend has spent all week insisting that his Irish opponent was struggling with his weight cut.
But McGregor showed no sign of that as he saluted the thousands of fans in attendance.
The UFC star faces a mammoth challenge in his professional boxing debut against the best boxer of his generation.
Here’s how you can use special McGregor and Mayweather emojis
Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and UFC star Conor McGregor are set to do battle on Saturday in the fight to end all fights.
Stepping into the ring for the first time in his career, the Dublin-born fighter will attempt to do something no other man has ever done before and beat the 49-0 boxer from America.
But enough about that, for now at least, because Twitter has launched special emojis for each of the fighters in celebration of the occasion.
Well, when you’re tweeting about the duo before, during and after this weekend’s multi-million pound bout you’ll want to do so in style, right?
How can I trigger the emojis?
We’re glad you asked.
Fans using #FloydMayweather or #Mayweather will automatically trigger Mayweather’s face in their Tweets.
And, that means that, of course, fans using #ConorMcGregor and #McGregor will bring up an emoji of McGregor’s likeness.
Mayweather vows to end McGregor’s career
Floyd Mayweather vowed to end Conor McGregor’s fighting career as he weighed in lighter than the Irishman in Las Vegas on Friday.
The pair both tipped the scales under the 154lb limit with McGregor weighing 153lb to Mayweather’s 149.5lb.
And the boxing legend reiterated his promise to end the fight early on Saturday night.
He said: “It won’t go the distance. Mark my words. This will be Conor McGregor’s last fight also.
“I feel great, I was eating when I came here, I had a tremendous training camp. I’ve been here so many times, this is another record-breaking fight.
“Twenty one years being in the sport, hard work, dedication. At the end of the day, I can fight, nobody can say I can’t fight. I’ve fought the best in my era. I never worry about anything, I faced the best and I’ve been able to beat the best.”
“But what about McGregor’s left hand – he’s a huge puncher.”
The debate over tonight’s Las Vegas mega-fight has been raging for months – but the talking will finally stop when the first bell rings in the T-Mobile Arena.
Mayweather is of course the odds-on favourite to win his 50th professional fight against a man making his debut.
But the odds have shortened on McGregor shocking the sporting world and causing one of the biggest shocks in history.
Here, the great and the good from boxing and mixed martial arts make their predictions ahead of the fight of the century.
